Posted a bit on my blog on Blogspot giving an update as to where I've been and what's been going on.
One point on the blog I'd like to mention is I started a small shop on Cafepress. Loaded the first design on my portfolio page under Skull Romance, playing around with the typical skull and rose imagry, and good excersize with the pen-tool in photoshop! Enjoy

So, the site is finally up. I also started a blog at http://derekleduc.blogspot.com/ which I'll be updating frequently posting opinions on the various mediums I follow, particularly story telling in video games.
Gallery is filled with as many examples of work I feel where relevant in recent memory, will be adding more as new projects finish and emerge. Until then, I hope you enjoy the site, blog and artwork.

So I got all the links working right and some work displayed. I'll have to get back to Winnipeg to add a few choice pieces to the mix, but the page itself is going for launch.
I'll be looking into applying a proper content management system, as well as enhancing the contact page with a form in the future.
Lastly, I am working on three pieces, a full colour illustration, a 3D hard-modeling piece, and a logo design. If all the pieces come out as envisioned, it should be a strong addition to this portfolio page.

Finally finished the new layout. Currently looking through older work to fill in some of the examples of 3D, Graphic Design and Illustration, though the site itself showcases mu abilities far better than the quick and dirty site that was up before.
I am sure the site will be up and running by tomorrow, I am also looking to throw a few links around to a few forms related and unrelated to get some opinions of the work on display and any errors on the page itself.
Other than that, it's just going back to the grind, however, with a new page to display work, and more to the point one I can take pride in, I trust the work will flow a lot more naturally. Often times the simple motivation of showing off something new each week is enough to keep me going :)
